"In this special year of Saint Joseph in our Diocese, may we seek his powerful intercession to safely guard the Church frorm all evils, just as he protected the Holy Family from Harm. Saint Joseph, our guide and patron, pray for us." - Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed many challenges for all of us, including our beloved parishes. Offertory funds lost due to the suspension of Masses have put a strain on the ability of parishes to pay bills and offer services.

Please consider making a gift and support the vital ministries and services your parish provides. You may select your parish from the drop-down menu on this form or you may choose “parishes most in need” at the bottom of the list. Gifts of any amount are welcome and all gifts will go directly to the parish indicated.

Stations of the Cross every Friday at 6:30 p.m. during Lent.

Beginning on Monday, February 22nd and
continuing through Monday, March 22nd,
confessions will be heard from 4 pm until 6 pm. All COVID-19 guidelines for Confession will be followed, including the wearing of facemasks and the distance of six feet between the priest and the penitent.

Maintaining our reservation policy

Some parishes in the Hazleton area do not have a reservation policy for Mass attendance because the church can hold many people safely and the actual numbers in attendance do not require a reservation per se. In other cases, the parish can accommodate an overflow in another part of its church facility with either direct or virtual participation available. In any case, Most Precious Blood and Queen of Heaven parishes do not have large sanctuaries. We are limited in capacity because of social distancing. As a result, we continue to abide by a reservation policy, and we hope you can understand if you are inconvenienced in any way.
